The International Federation of Pediatric
and Adolescent Gynecology (FIGIJ) has created the international
recognition for those physicians of different specialities
that develop the pediatric and adolescent gynecology.
This speciality has academic recognition by few universities,
but many of university centers give this training.
The purpose of IFEPAG is to stimulate
the interest of obstetricians/gynecologists, Pediatricions,
Endocrilogists, Pediatric Surgeons, specialist in adolescence
and Family physicians to work and develop research in
this area of the medicine. The first IFEPAG was hold
in 1997 at the VII European Congress of Pediatric and
adolescent gynecology at Vienna.
It has been approved by FIGIJ the XVII IFEPAG to be held on 25 May, 2011 in
Ploudy, Bulgaria before the XII European Congress of Pediatric and Adolescent Ginecology, from 26 to 29 May, 2011. The IFEPAG exam will be in English, Spanish
It has been approved by FIGIJ the XVIII IFEPAG to be held on 7 July, 2011 in
Santiago, Chile before the XII Latinamerican Congress of Pediatric and Adolescent Ginecology, from 8 to 10 July, 2011. The IFEPAG exam will be in English, Spanish
